Tokyo : Shinjuku
Had dinner at a roadside store for 700 yen. It's ramen with some pork and seaweed. Its kinda costly coz we thought it would be like around 500 yen. But its an experience to try it at a roadside store. So here we go!

Didnt know what I ordered till it was served.

Went over to Shinjuku yesterday, a busy part of Tokyo which is also dubbed as the redlight district by some. It around 19 mins ride on the JR East railway and it cost 190 yen. Quite cheap considering Japan's standard. That should be like a ride from Orchard to Bishan distance.
The ride wasn't as crowded as expected.

There were pimps out on the street looking more for middle aged man. None of them approached us coz we might look foreign and I heard they dun really go approach foreigners. However, Faizal was approached by 2 black man asking if he wanted to see some shows. They spoke to him in english.

Anyway, it wasn't jus all sleaze, in fact it was milder than I thought it would be. There were arcades and a few nice shops. There's this alley that sells cheap food and its very cosy. But then it's kinda dark and I didn't manage to take any photos of the place.

Stopped by and bought a piece of red bean wadever u call this. There was abundant filling inside and it cost only 100 yen.
